Happy Friday friends! I hope you all had a great week. Boy was this week a whirlwind for me, in a good way of course. It felt like it flew by though so I am really looking forward to a more relaxing weekend and enjoying some local fun with the nuggets. We’re also hoping to get some things done in the airstream and I’m excited to share the name we decided on within the next few days on my instagram (@beautifully_candid).
Here’s a peek at some of my favorites from the week…
1. Diner en blanc: I mentioned last week that I was going to be celebrating my birthday with a few friends and aside from it being kind of chilly out, it was a great time! We ate, we danced, we had some good laughs, and it wouldn’t be an event if we forgot a few things and had to improvise. If you aren’t familiar with diner en blanc I would definitely google it because it’s a pretty cool concept. I mean, I could do without lugging all of our things, and we did unintentionally skipped a few steps here, I blame it on the road being closed to get there—but it all worked out. The one we attended was on more of a local scale because the major cities are a lot more strict and there is even a lottery system and waiting list you have to get on. Crazy, right?!
I wore this really pretty off the shoulder white romper (c/o Zaful) and I loved the lace detail on it. Since you have to wear all white to the party I was really worried about whatever I decided on wearing being see through. I really liked the way the bottom of this romper was lined and there were no issues here.
2. NYFW: there was no way this couldn’t have made my list. I am so thankfully I got to attend a show and be able to go backstage. Meeting Dennis Basso and Lisa Rinna was pretty amazing too!!! You can read all about the fun {here}.
3. And That social media event: I got to attend a social media event at a local And That by Christmas Tree Shop that’s officially opening up by us this Saturday. I saw some familiar faces and got to meet some of my other NJ blogger friends. We had a great time shopping around the store and sharing it on our stories.
4. Such a silly bunch: one of the things I love about visiting my dad is all of the open space and land around him. There are also so many fun wineries and orchards to visit. He wanted to take the boys apple picking but they weren’t ready just yet so we decided on some grapes. The boys probably threw and mashed more than they should have and let’s just say their grape stopping was not any wine I would be drinking. They also insisted on pulling me on that wagon and who am I to say no to a free ride?!
5. Sweet chaos: the more I’m writing this I realize my two nuggets like to get into everything. Our candy shop visit was no exception. You can read more about that {here} and all the sticky goodness.
I hope everyone has a great weekend! Here’s where you can find me linking for all of the link up fun through out the week.
