Happppyyy Fridayyyy! As always we hope your week has been a great one. Fall is in full swing over here with chilly mornings, warmer days, and colder nights, but we love it! Even though we are excited that fall is here we had to spend the last official few days of summer doing something fun and summer related. We have a hard time parting ways with summer. 

Off to the Cape May Zoo and beach we went! We apologize for the picture overload, well kind of but not really 🙂 There are just too many fun moments that we captured that we are sharing with you! Here we go…Friday Favorites! 

1. Nail Polish: And the color of the week goes to… Fine Pruned from Ulta.

2. Cape May Zoo: We love this zoo and had such nice time! If you are in the area, or ever in the area, it’s definitely a spot to check out. 

           

  

3. Beach Love: What better way to finish out the last few days of summer than a visit to the sandy shores!  Cape May is a great town with so much to offer. Here’s a random fact, Cape May is the nation’s oldest seashore resort. Bet you didn’t know that? 😉 There is also great shopping on Washington St. and fabulous restaurants to dine at. It’s also located at exit zero on the parkway which is an odd site to see. And did we mention they have a zoo and great beaches?

4. And We’re Off: It’s official, last week little man started walking and hasn’t really sat down. After a big mommy fail, I forgot his shoes for the zoo. I felt like such a dodo bird that he didn’t have his shoes 🙁 All he wanted to do was walk around. We hadn’t purchased true walking shoes for him just yet but we had a few slip on pairs and sandals that would have at least covered his feet. We managed to improvise but after that, off to the store we went for some new kicks.
Here’s what he’s wearing now. Stride Rite was great and provided wonderful customer service. They also have a promotion going on that we participated in.  If you donate a pair of lightly worn shoes you get 20% off your purchase. We know he’s still so young and doesn’t really understand yet but we feel it’s important to teach him (at the ripe old age of 11 months 3 weeks and 1 day, but who’s counting?!?) the importance of giving back when you can. Guess who’s going to be one next week? This guy 🙂
