Keeping It Comfy With a Jersey Dress

Hello fashion friends! If you follow me on {instagram} you might have already seen this look. Since I loved it so much and knowing how comfy it is I just couldn’t pass up sharing more about it. I never really thought fashion was a direction my blog would be going in and I’m still not exactly sure how much I’ll be keeping up with it. For now, I’m just having some fun and love hearing what you all like about each outfit.

Last week I shared one of my favorites which is a simple blazer, graphic tee, skinny jeans, and heels. You can read more about that {here}. As much as I love throwing on a pair of heels because I really do feel like it transitions an outfit, I’m not prancing around in them everyday. It’s just not going to happen. Especially when majority of my time is spent chasing around after the nuggets.
When I planned for Eric and I to spend a day in Brooklyn {read more here} I knew my outfit had to be comfortable but something I still loved and felt confident in. I had {this} dress from H&M (purchased in dark green size small) that I knew was super comfy to wear. With it only being $12.99 (no, seriously) I’m considering buying every color.

I knew our day was going to involve a lot of walking around and while I love my fall boots my converse just seemed liked the best option. And, I kind of love the way they look with a dress.

I know I’m really late with jumping on the backpack band wagon over here but after finding one at Marshalls that I really liked and knew I would be getting use out of, this one made its way into my closet. It fits my extra camera lenses, things for the boys, and everything else I need just perfectly without weighing me down or feeling bulky. I can’t find the direct link to the one I have but {here’s} the designer who makes it.

So let me just tell you, I could have stayed in Brooklyn all day taking pictures. It was street art mural heaven. If you’re in the area and looking for some fun spots to take pics these are in the Williamsburg section on Berry St around N 13th & 12th Street.
