Happy Friday, friends! I hope everyone had a great week. This was an interesting one for us but a good one nonetheless. Anytime we can get in some fun outdoor play we are always all in a better mood.
Here’s a look at some of my favorites from the week…
1. Airstream update: if you’ve been following along here for a while then you might remember we bought a vintage 1978 Aistream at the end of the summer. We took it on as a reno project, and guess what? We’re still renovating it. The brutal winter and delayed spring really set our timelines back, but thankfully it looks like we should be able to get a lot more done on it. Over the weekend we put in the new floors and are currently working on the kitchen. Just putting in the new floors has already transformed this space and I am so excited to see the rest of it come together!
2. Earth Day: We did so much outside last week and I loved how much the nuggets enjoy helping and wanting to be apart of things. We have high hopes that we might grow something this year. Remember last year with our failed garden and that groundhog? Well news flash, he’s back! We are trying to catch him (in a no kill trap, of course) while it’s still early and he doesn’t have a garden to feast on. The boys did so good with weeding and helping to plant our seedlings. Now we just need things to grow and survive. Send me all your green thumb tips!
3. Blog post: in case you missed it, I shared this week some resources that have helped increase my blog traffic. I think most of us are always looking for ways to go grow but sometimes I get so lost in posts or ones that share the same info over and over again. Hopefully you can find this useful and we can all grow together.
4. Funny moment: in keeping with trying to remember the funny things my boys say, I wanted to share this one. The other morning little nugget was calling for Eric to come in his room at the wonderful time of 6:45am. This seems to be his new wake up time and I am really struggling with it. Anyway, Eric goes in to get him out of bed and sees him laying face down with his feet up and his arms swimming. He says, look daddy! I’m a whale! He then proceeded to lay in bed with us and continue to act like a whale. A whale?! Where do these kids get this stuff from? Even though it was too early for my liking I couldn’t help but laugh, and the more we laughed the more he did it.

Remember last week when I shared this one piece swimsuit? Well, it got me thinking about a cover-up. I have a few cheaper ones but they are getting worn and sometimes I feel so lost in ones that are one size fits all. Saks Off Fifth is having their 48 hour flash sale (use code ADD2BAG for up to 80% off) so I picked up this beach cover-up with tassels. I love that I could pick the size best for me. I went with the purple one and think it will be really cute when I finally get a tan. I also loved these sandals.

I was also thinking about some extra mother’s day gifts. Even though my sister doesn’t have kids yet, we still like to get her something from the boys. I think every woman should be recognized on mother’s day. I thought this dog mom hat from Amazon was perfect for her and how cute are these floral binder clips for her to bring into the office?
I hope everyone has a great weekend! Here’s where you can find me linking for all of the link up fun.
