Father’s Day Gift Ideas

If you’re like me you probably save shopping for the last minute, because well, life just happens. It seems like the first thing I do anymore when I need to get a gift is jump right online. The thought of bringing two toddlers into the store and trying to make a decision on what to get is just exhausting thinking about it. Ok, maybe that’s a little dramatic, but shopping online is wayyy easier, and if a company offers free shipping then I’m usually sold. 

I love Father’s Day because it’s a time when we get to show that special guy in our lives some extra attention and get them some pretty cool things. For the most part Eric has always been easy to shop for which makes it a lot easier on me. Here’s a few things I came across that I think could work for a lot of guys out there.

1. Socks: this might not be the most creative gift around but it’s practical, and I feel like you can never go wrong with socks. At least for him. Eric gets more holes in his socks than I thought possible. He isn’t the most adventurous with his wardrobe but he will get funky with his socks.

2. Harry’s Shave Set: I have a confession to make, this won’t be one of Eric’s gifts because I already gave it to him. When Harry’s reached out to me about their awesome shave sets I knew this was something I wanted to try out. More importantly with all my crazy blogging requests and turning my husband into my photographer, I loved the idea of having a product that he can use too. I also had the option to have his shaver engraved with his initials which was something really special and unique. He has been loving his Harry’s set which doesn’t irritate his skin and leaves him with a nice close shave. This kit would also be a great gift for any occasion.

3. Personalized Ice Cream: I happened to be on Groupon the other day (not sure if the deal’s still out there) and came across this deal for personalized ice cream. Eric is a big ice cream fan. I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned this before, but he actually used to own an ice cream truck in college that we would go out and sell ice cream in. It was so much fun and we always say we kind of regret selling it.

4. Soft Pretzels & Beer Mustard Kit: I feel like you can never go wrong with food related gifts so when I came across this kit it just had Eric written all over it.

5. Grilling Set: if you’ve been a reader around here (and thank you so much if you are) then you probably know that we love being outdoors. One of our favorite things to do in the summer is eat outside. We do a lot of grilling so this fun grilling set makes for a great gift.

6. Personalized Hammer: since Eric is a really handy guy and we’re always doing renovation projects, this personalized hammer that will be from the boys is the perfect gift for him. It’s always nice when you can personalize a gift and make it unique to you.
