Ruffled Top and Rose Colored Glasses

I’ve really been branching out over here with my tops lately and I can’t say I’m upset about it. Last week I shared my Valentine’s Day look with my fun lip print top, and after seeing how much everyone liked it, I’ve decided I’m definitely wearing this to the office next week. I think I’ll be leaving the sequined tights at home though 😉 

With Valentine’s Day being one week away, a fun pink wall and rose colored glasses only seem right. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t exactly planning on making this a fashion post but when you’re out somewhere and find a pretty wall and you love the ruffled top you’re in, you make it happen. Although that wind was tricky but when is the weather ever on my side.

I’ve worn this top to work before with dress pants or a skirt but usually have it tucked in. Every time I do wear this I get a lot of compliments on it. The dramatic ruffles on the shoulders just give it something extra and the bell sleeves finish off the look. I’m wearing a size 2 and tend to be on the petite size. I have shorter arms so the sleeves are a tad long. Overall I think it fits true to size. When I took these pictures I happened to be wearing it on a weekend with my gray jeans and I think it also works for a more relaxed casual look as well.
