I love getting inspiration from others and figured I would share some of my recent purchases. Whether I need all the things or not, that’s another question. But in any case, I’m always thinking about gift ideas or things that I can add to my wardrobe or practical items. In my opinion, it’s never too early to start stashing things away for the holidays. I’ve started buying things throughout the year and it makes a big difference with not having to rush around like crazy during the home stretch.
Revitalizing Facial Serum
My sister got me onto this revitalizing serum and it has been the best I have used so far. She found out about it from a Youtuber, then told me about it, and now I’m telling you about it, and well, we see how this whole thing works. I do my normal morning routine and apply my moisturizer and eye cream. I wait a few minutes and then apply this all over my face, and then apply my makeup a few minutes later. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and bright and I love how my makeup looks over it.
Floral Sweater
Sweaters have been my go to this season and I cannot get enough. I love how they are effortless, keep me cozy, and make me feel put together. This crewneck pullover brings compliments every time I wear it, and with the floral pattern, I’m sure I’ll be transitioning this into my spring attire as well.
Shampoo Bar
Have you ever tried a shampoo bar? I’ve switch from traditional shampoo to a shampoo bar for about a year now. This one has been my favorite so far. I’ve noticed that my hair feels a lot healthier and I have less breakage. The one thing I don’t like about it is, when the bar shrinks down from usage, it does tend to crack into several pieces. That doesn’t mean you can’t use those pieces, it’s just kind of annoying, but I feel that the benefits and reduction of plastic waste outweigh that.
Reusable Bag
We are getting ready to head on another trip, and for years, my go-to for anytime we travel is my baggu reusable bag. It’s is super light weight and easy to pack and serves several purposes. Most states require reusable bags so this has come in handy in multiple situations. I’ve used this as a beach bag, wet bag, and carrier of all the things. It’s easy to throw right into the wash for a refresh and use again.
Sneakers
I’m sure you’ve seen these waffle knit sneakers floating around, and for good reason. Eric actually got me these for Christmas, but since I have sneakers in similar colors, I decided to exchange them for the black pair. The color tends to not show as much and can go with almost any outfit. I sized up half a size and they worked out perfect. They are super comfortable and I get a bunch of compliments every time I wear them.
Electric Scrubber
You may have seen me share this a few weeks ago, and so far, it’s been a big seller. I’m hearing from several of you that this electric scrubber has been helpful in your cleaning routine and being able to use it for multiple purposes. I love to hear that! You’re all enjoying the multiple speed settings, which was one of my favorite features about it too. I also thought that it was great that it has a carwash head you can put on. I plan to use it once things dry out around here. One trip down our driveway and my car is a muddy mess. This scrubber is currently on sale and eligible for a $10 off coupon (while the promotion lasts).
