1. Cutest doormat: I love a fun find and even better when it’s a great deal! I ordered this cactus doormat (currently on sale 30% off) and of course couldn’t pass up taking a pic and sharing it with all of you. I posted it on my instagram and was contacted by Target asking if they could share it. Well of course! I just love that they actually take the time to look at my pics because they also shared a pic back around Christmas when I posted our stockings hanging on our mantel.
My goal is to one day be featured on their actual instagram page, but for now to be featured on their Awesomeshop did make me feel pretty awesome for a minute.
I had a proud mama moment when A saw there were some kids around him that didn’t have a lot of candy so he stopped and told my husband he was done picking things up because he wanted the other kids to get some. He did come across another pack of fruit snacks and told Eric he wanted to get them for his little brother so he needed to pick up just one more. I really love that he already took notice to others around him and didn’t want to be greedy.
I was also so surprised that little nugget started throwing a tantrum because we could not get him to the bunny fast enough. Most kids were crying to get away from the bunny and all he wanted to do was get to him. He kept yelling bunny rabbit! Bunny rabbit! Once he actually got up to him he gave him a high five and stood proud for a picture.
3. Farm fun: I love that both of my nuggets enjoy being around farm animals and aren’t afraid to get in there and get dirty and feed them. They had the best time feeding the animals, getting a sweet treat at the market, and picking out some fresh eggs.
4. April showers: it feels like we’ve had so many rainy days over here lately. I know they say April showers, but wow. Hopefully it’s getting everything out of its system now and we’ll be on to all the brighter days. For now, I’ll just have to enjoy some puddle jumping and cute rain gear with my nuggets. I shared more about our rainy days {here}.
5. Facial: for the first time in a long time I was able to get some me time in. I treated myself to a microdermabrasion facial. Well, it was really more like I found a groupon that was too good to pass up because I can’t resist a deal. Regardless, it was relaxing and my face feels brighter and smoother. I really wish I could find a way to fit in more time to get massages and facials frequently, but wouldn’t we all.
I hope everyone has a great weekend! Here’s where I’m linking with some of my favorite bloggers for all the linkup fun, and don’t forget to join me, Emily, Lizzie, Danielle, and Lindsay on Thursday for our monthly girl chat linkup. We’ll be sharing our Easter traditions and can’t wait to hear about yours.
