It’s hard to believe tomorrow is the first official day of winter. For some reason as soon as Thanksgiving is over my mind automatically transfers over into thinking it’s winter even though I know we’re still technically in fall.
This year I’ve already been bundled up for the past few weeks and have been enjoying my winter outfits. I could do without the freezing temps but if we have to experience it I might as well like what I’m wearing.
I warned everyone that you were going to see me wearing {this} beanie on repeat because it’s seriously my favorite and goes with a lot of the outerwear I have. You’ll also be seeing {these} sunnies on major repeat because I cannot get enough of them! Hands down they are my favorite Cyber Monday purchase and I am completely hooked on Quay now.
I also love {this} frost free quilted jacket (currently on sale for $12.97!) which is a lot warmer than I thought it would be. I realized I have a lot of dresser jackets and coats that aren’t exactly suitable for running around outside in the snow. I think this one will really come in handy for some snowball fights and snowman making with the nuggets.
I wasn’t sure if I was going to jump on the duck boot trend but after trying them on and thinking about what I can wear them with, I fell in love. Not only do I like how they look but they’re super warm. I wore them all around the city for our NYC day with a pair of fuzzy socks and I’m happy to say my toes did not feel like they were going to fall off.
I really like this sweater I’m wearing too, but it’s one of those random Marshalls finds that I can’t find a link to anywhere {similar style here}. I love the high low feature and the front pockets that give it a playful look. I also like how it has a cowl neck because I don’t feel like I need to layer up with an extra scarf when I’m wearing one.
As much as winter is probably my least favorite season I am embracing it this year and just making sure I have what I need to keep me warm.
