Now we’re just getting ready for A’s third birthday this weekend. I know I sound like a broken record, but time people. I seriously have issues with how fast it goes.
There just isn’t anything on the market that we are in love with without going in and still doing major renovations. At this point we are tossing around the idea of building. If we go that route it looks like we might be here at least a year or so, which is fine because it’s actually a lot better than I thought it would be. Side note, does anyone have experience with going through the process of building a modular home? I’d love to hear your story!
3. Oldies but goodies: here’s where I’m digging into the archives and sharing my favorite fall food posts. I can’t believe I forgot about {this} apple dip! I’m glad I decided to do a search in my own blog, has anyone else done that from time to time? Anyway, we are planning on going apple picking this weekend so I will definitely be making this again.
2. Fall food for toddlers: I remember I had fun with {this} one and thinking of foods that A would enjoy. Although, I still can’t believe I actually called something a Cheeskin (insert monkey emoji covering eyes, I always associate that with bashful). But a cheeskin? What in the world was I thinking? Did I really think I could pin that and have it take off as some internet food phenomenon or that it was really the best name ever.
5. Harvest salad: I saved the best one for last, I love {this} salad! If you’re planning on doing or attending any type of fall parties this also makes for a great presentation and conversation piece. There’s just something about that pear in the middle. And that warm honey dressing just tops it off.
Maybe one day I’ll have time to do some recipe posts again but for now thanks for traveling down memory lane with me. I hope you have a great weekend!
