I know it’s winter now and the cold temperatures are to be expected, but yikes. I mean, it’s cold. Really cold. Like I got into my car yesterday and the temperature was a single digit. And, it’s probably not even as cold as some other areas of the world—so I’ll just stop with my rant.
I will say though, it’s very hard to do fashion posts in cold weather temperatures. My poor husband was freezing his hands off while taking pictures (you’re such a trooper babe), and I can’t say I was exactly the most comfortable either. But, if you live in a warmer climate area that is experiencing some in between weather, this look could be perfect for you.
Side note, I have two weaknesses I’m guilty of—street art and colorful doors. If we were out somewhere and one of these two popped up (added bonus if they’re both in the same place) then you better believe we are taking some sort of picture. I’ve even seen some pretty doors that if I didn’t think it would be creepy to walk up on a strangers porch and just start taking pictures, I would. I haven’t gotten to that status yet, but the thought has crossed my mind. Anyone else just drawn to fun colors?
Ok, back to this outfit. I could definitely see myself wearing this as a transitional outfit when it gets a little warmer, but I’ll probably be trading out my boots for a pair of flats. I’m still wearing this outfit despite the temperatures, I’m just not parading around without some sort of coat on.
I put a cami under this sweater to give it more length and plan on switching it up with lighter or contrasting colors to give it a different look each time.
This was my first time ordering from SheIn and honestly I wasn’t sure what to expect. I always see so many of you wearing their pieces and their price points just seemed so unreal. My only disappointment was the shipping time frame which seemed to take a really long time. When I contacted them about it—magically my order went out the next day.
I’ve been wearing scarves a lot more lately, both with my outer wear and also just in general. I’m a sucker for a good infinity scarf and It’s no surprise around here that I’ve been on a beanie kick this season. I just can’t seem to get enough of them.
I guess if we have to brave these frigid temps we might as well be doing it in style 🙂
