Here’s a look at some of my favorites…
1. Little nugget’s birthday:
If you missed it earlier this week I shared some of the highlights from his party. It poured that day and we had to set everything up in the house, but it all worked out and he had the best time which is the important part.
2. Peach picking:
Maybe I should say more like peach and nectarine picking, because that’s how it actually went down. If you caught my instagram I shared how we first stopped off at the nectarine trees because my #pregnancybrain thought they were peaches at first. Womp, womp. We love nectarines too so it was basically the best of both worlds. I’m also working on sharing bits and pieces of details from our adventures on my different social media platforms so it’s not the same information over and over again. If you follow me on all of them (I love you).
3. Favorite quotes:
We had our monthly girl chat link up yesterday where we shared some of our favorite quotes. I love a good quote or inspiration and it’s always so fun to see what others share. If you’re looking for some good ones be sure to check them out and link up a post if you have some to share.
4. Fun mail:
Two of my sorority sisters who are still some of my closest friends surprised me this week with some fun and thoughtful mail. It makes me so appreciative when people show kindness because it really is the little things that make such a difference. They put such a smile on my face that day and really made me feel special. I now have bump box coming to me for the next few months and I was so excited with the goodies that were in there. My feet have been so sore by the end of the day and wouldn’t you know, a foot soak was in there. All the praise hands over here.
Brandi Little’s book also arrived in the mail and I am so excited to start it. I’m so proud of her for writing this and getting it published. She’s been a great blogging friend and is one of the sweetest people I have come across in this community. If you’re looking for a new read her book is One Step Forward.
5. Soccer mom:
If you remember last year A was not in love with playing soccer. He cried most of the time and didn’t really want to listen to the coach. Oh yeah, proud parent moments there when your kid is running off the field. We weren’t sure about having him play again this year but now little nugget can also play and I will be able to have both of them together. They both said they wanted to play so we are giving it another try. Last year I only made it to one of his games because of work and was really upset that I couldn’t be more involved. My boss has been amazing and we worked it out for me to be able to leave early and take them to all of their games. I’m really excited to see both of them out there playing and I hope that they both really enjoy it.
I hope everyone has a great weekend! Here’s where you can find me linking for all of the link up fun.
