I know we’re all wondering about it, but seriously, how are we halfway through the year already?! I’m so excited for everything summer but I know we’re going to blink and be putting up our Christmas lights again soon. Alright, alright, I’ll slow down a little bit here and focus on the season we’re in because I could take summer all day everyday.
I don’t often wear my hair up, but when I do, it’s usually when it’s hot out. I picked up a few headwraps that I think will be cute with my hair pulled up or down and perfect to disguise those bad hair days. I also love hats for the summer, especially when we are at the beach. I picked up this one that I wore for Memorial Day and have been getting a lot of compliments on it.
I also love easy comfortable shoes for the summer. Flip flops and my converse will always be favorites but I’m sure you’ve heard me talk about my espadrilles around here before. I just can’t get enough of them. Not only are they super cute but extremely comfortable.
I usually stick to a more neutral color on my nails but over the summer I will go brighter and bolder. I am loving things in the mint family right now.
Since we spend a lot of time at the beach or in the pool over the summer I always like to get a few new swimsuits. I’m really liking this scalloped one piece with the cutout detail. And speaking of the beach and pool, it’s not complete without a fun float to relax in.
We also spend a lot of time outside in the summer and when we have bbqs we like to pull out some games. A few years back, Eric built a corn hole set but we could probably stand to get some new bags for it. How cute are these stars and stripes ones? They are perfect for 4th of July too which is right around the corner.
You can probably see a trend here with all my pineapple love, but I cannot get enough of it. Pineapples and strawberries have always been my favorite fruits and with all the pineapple decor floating around I want it all. These glasses are great for having people over and I already have a similar beach blanket to this one that I am obsessed with.
