Our little man is three! Oh how time just keeps on rolling by. He is growing into such a sweet, polite, opinionated, and silly little guy. We are so thankful for him and love to watch him grow. We had such a fun time with his Threeville birthday celebration.
We wanted to make his birthday extra special for him and came up with the idea of Threeville. I’m seeing how hard it can be to work in a celebration around the holidays because there is so much going on this time of year. We ended up combining his birthday with Thanksgiving and it worked out really well.
My whole inspiration for his party stemmed (haha) from the truffula trees I made when we took our Dr. Seuss day picture back at the beginning of the year. I love being able to recycle decor and wanted to come up with a creative way to use them again.
My boys really enjoy The Lorax movie, and it also seemed fitting since we have trees on our property, that we went with something along those lines. If you’ve seen the movie, you might remember how the city is in Thneedville. Replace Thneed with Three, and there you have it—Threeville!
My friend from PaperieOffPark whose designed some great party details for our previous celebrations (remember A’s robot party), helped to add some extra touches that tied the party theme together. I love how the signs came out and everyone enjoyed the gluppity-glupp drinks and the kids couldn’t wait to see what was in the bar-ba-loot bags.
It’s been a tradition to pick out a number shirt for the boys to be able to wear. We take some fun pictures and they also feel extra proud to be able to wear it around friends or to school.
My sister made these amazing cookies for all of us to enjoy. She is so talented! She makes everything from scratch and they taste delicious. We also had some other sweet tree-ats and tree-at pops.
These fun mustaches PaperieOffPark designed were a hit and it was great to take some silly pics. It ended up being a fun day of celebrating with family and the best party was hearing C say, it’s my party day!
If you found this to be a fun party theme and idea that might be helpful for someone when looking for inspiration, pins and shares are always greatly appreciated.
